The entries have been confirmed for teams competing in the Gwent superleague season 2024-25.
Womens League
WIth 3 new teams entering and 1 leaving the womens league will have 8 teams this season. The new teams are The Royal Exchange, Brynmawr, Cwmbran Workingmens Club, and Butters Bar, Gilfach. Cwmbran Six in hand will look to retain the title they won last year, while a new look King William team will be looking to challenge them. Risca, and Newport will also remain while the Abertillery ladies move venues to play from the Six Bells Hotel.
Mens League,
Multi league winning team Pontnewydd Legion move to Cwmbran Workingmens Club, while the Red Triangle team move to the Valley Tavern in Fleur-de-Lis. New teams this season are the Bat & Ball in Pontypool and Markham Youth Academy whose older youths are looking to make the move from youth County to the senior stage. Blaenavon Cons Club have entered 2 mens teams this season, while the Out Out Bar teams moves to play as a second team at the Dodger. Gilfach, Crumlin, Crosskeys, Abergavenny and Hollybush remain unchanged.
The league will commence in September and we look forward to a highly competitive season in both leagues.
