AGM


Following the AGM Gwent Darts Organisation have added new members to the team who work behind the scenes.


Nick Kenny remains the Chair and Men's team manager. Patricia Cottle retains the Vice Chair position as well as managing the top table at county matches.


Dawn Phipps has stepped down as a director but has agreed to stay on board as treasurer and Ladies team manager. While David Clarke will continue to manage the stage at county home games. He will be looking for callers to assist in the refereeing of games at the home venue.


3 new directors were voted on board. Andrew Jenkins will take on the role of Secretary and technical support. Nicola Hughes steps up as fundraising manager after having boosted Gwent's income from fundraising last season by an amazing 35%. Nico Roynon also comes on board as youth and ladies liaison to promote the game in those sectors.


All the directors look forward to welcoming everyone to the county matches and are keen to bring the team back to the Championship as quickly as possible.


The first county game of the season will be away to the Black Country on 2nd & 3rd September with the first home fixture being on 30th Sept & 1st Oct against fellow Welsh side Gwynedd.
