Nick Kenny waited until the last minute to regain his tour card this month. After winning 2 points in the order of merit on the first day of Q School finals, he struggled on day 2 and 3 to make any further progress. Day 4 was a different story.
Finding his feet and showing the strength of character he is capable of, Nick made it to the final and faced an in form Adam Neale-Smith. Despite losing in the final, the 5 order of merit points he picked up on the way were enough to leave him 4th in the table and ensured him a tour card for the next 2 years.
All Of Gwent Darts Organisation will be wishing him luck and following his progress across the PDC events.
Fellow Gwent players Alec Small and Liam Meek also made it to the finals of Q School this year but were unsuccessful in their efforts. I am sure we will be seeing more of them in the future.
